About

Hi there! I'm Leah Lani. Some call me one or the other and some call me both, alternating between them somewhat confused. When we moved an hour south from Flagstaff to Camp Verde, I didn't think through making an official change to my middle name, Lani, which I'd always wanted to do, until I'd already lived in my new community a year. On Facebook and Instagram you'll find me as Leah because I can't figure out how to change it to Lani. And so the confusion persists :)

I am blessed to be married to my best friend for over 20 years. We have 5 amazing kids, 3 boys and 2 girls. Four of them are adopted, two internationally and two through the state foster system, and one is biological. Our third son, adopted from the state foster system has some special needs. I homeschool them and love it.

We found our dream property that backs the only wild river in Arizona, the Verde River, and is lined by one of only 10 Cottonwood Willow tree galleries in the world. I pinch myself everyday for this gift.

We have a tiny backyard farm of two goats, half a dozen chickens, two dogs, and two cats and a bunny. We also enjoy an abundance of birds and other wildlife.

I have often gotten the comment, "Wow! You have your hands full! To which I like to reply, "You should see my heart."
